After the Philippine stock market closed on Thursday, 02 July 2020, we looked at the list of recommended stocks for long-term investing, and checked these with our short-term stock trading strategy.
Is there something worth buying? Let's see.
While the stock in the 2nd row of the Bo Sanchez' Truly Rich Club table of stocks (as of July 2, 2020) is listed as "Continue Buying", and even if the stock price has gone above the ALMA line, the MACD line is still below the signal line. We'll see if the MACD line will cross and go above the red signal line.
The "Continue Buying" stock in Row 4 is similar to the case in Row 2, although the MACD line is much closer to the under belly of the red signal line. Could this mean that there's a higher chance we'll buy this stock tomorrow?
The "Continue Buying" stock in Row 8 is similar to the stock in Row 4. There are no Buy Signals yet for us right now, but that could quickly change in the next few days, depending on how the MACD and ALMA lines move.
Same thing goes for the "Continue Buying" stock in Row 12, although it appears to have a slightly higher risk than the stock in Row 8.
The stock in Row 13 has no Sell signal yet. We're waiting for the stock price to go below the ALMA line before we sell our shares. I might even buy some more, although this short-term trading strategy runs counter to the long-term recommendation to Sell and NOT BUY this stock. We'll see if we can have a short-term profit run on this after cashing out first on the earlier stock purchase.
The "Continue Buying" stock in Row 14 has a higher risk than the stock in Row 12.
The "Continue Buying" stock in Row 18 has a BUY signal for me. It does not look like the ideal Buy situation, but given how both the long-term investing approach and the short-term trading approach agree on the Buy recommendation, I'll most likely buy this tomorrow around 12:45pm (or around 15 minutes before the market closes), provided the price isn't too high. The Buy Below Price of Row 18 looks a bit high for my acceptable risk rate.
Row 19 has a long-term recommendation to HOLD, but the short-term chart indicates a Buy on July 2. We missed that, so we'll try to buy tomorrow, July 3, if the price doesn't get too high above the ALMA line.
Cheers,
